Cameron and friends – 26th February 2011
Cameron phoned us and asked about him and his friends coming along to have a shoot around out woodland course. Of course this was not a problem but not being archers a little bit of training was required up front before they could tackle the course.
The arrangements was for them to arrive get trained and be on their way around the woodland. We had agreed originally that they would like to do all 36 targets but we suggested that perhaps this might be a little too much for their first outing.
On the day the group turned up ready to start. Having thought about time etc it was agreed that the group would only shoot 24 targets and given the weather conditions that was probably a good decision. After about 40 minutes of training the group was ready to start.
At the first target we went through the shooting process and the scoring. A little bit of further coaching on the first two or three targets and the group was ready to be let loose on their own.
We kept an eye on our guests and ensure that they were ok throughout the session without interfering with their fun and enjoyment.
As the group completed the course we check on their well being and poked fun at the scores and celebrated the high scores.
Great fun was had by all with a promise of a return visit. It could not have been easier to have fun during the morning.
More to follow!
